I've got one foot in summer and one foot in fall, it seems, now that new fall arrivals have been showing up at my local Walmart store. If you're a planner and want to pick up a great lightweight layer to wear next month, then don't snooze on these Time and Tru shackets!

The first is the Time and Tru plaid shacket ($27.98) which comes in two colorways (brown or green plaid). It's a soft fleece fabric, unlined, and it's not itchy at all. It's an oversized fit so I went with my usual size small.
You could style with all-black for an edgy look (try leather-look leggings for evening), or with your favorite jeans and sneakers.
The second new shacket I'm loving at Walmart is the Time and Tru corduroy shacket ($27.98). It's the perfect autumnal shade of rust brown. Again, this one is soft and unlined with an oversized fit, so I'd go with your regular size. This would look great with a turtleneck and wide leg jeans, too.
