The problem with imitating celebrity styles is that most of them don't have normal jobs, hence, they offer little inspiration in the realm of real-world, office-appropriate attire. Sometimes I wish the paparazzi would just follow around the women of Wall Street or curators at the MoMA so we could stalk their styles instead, (although I suppose that would get in the way of their work, just a tad).
Fortunately, sometimes stars actually do offer up work-chic outfit ideas: When Kim Kardashian recently got dolled up for a day of work, namely, attending a Christian Siriano for Victoria's Secret Makeup launch event, she paired a polished white shirt with black pants for a look that could easily be adapted to anyone's work environment.
Here, I've stayed true to Kim's fashion-y, chic vibe, making this a look that would be most appropriate for someone working in a creative field with a laid-back dress code. Also, please note that while this look is anything but sloppy, the shoes hold some major sex-appeal. Definitely tone it down if you're working in a more traditional office. Ditto on the pink nail polish. Otherwise, you're good to go!
What do you think, could Kim's look pass where YOU work?

P.S. I recently returned from a trip from Italy where all of the fashionable Italian girls were rocking harem pants with fitted tanks, wavy long locks, bangles, and cool sandals. I've been trying to come up with the gall to rock them stateside and think I just might now!
