Kitson LA and People's Liberation for Charlotte Russe

At the Charlotte Russe Launch Event Fall 2009 held in New York on Wednesday, I learned that Charlotte Russe has teamed up with Kitson LA as well as People's Liberation to create exclusive affordable collections for the fast-fashion chain. In case you're not familiar, Kitson is a trendy Los Angeles boutique favored by celebs (it's a paparazzi magnet), while People's Liberation is a premium denim/knits/activewear brand that used to be sold at higher-end stores like Nordstrom, Bloomingdales and Fred Segal, and will now become available exclusively through Charlotte Russe. Good to know!

Below, some photos I snapped of the new collaborations. And on a side note, first Target teams up with Shop Intuition, now Kitson LA for Charlotte Russe? Looks like collabs with Hollywood boutiques rather than stars is the latest thing.

oh man the black and white leather jackets at the end are perfect. i've been looking for an affordable leather jacket for so long!

I love People's Liberation so this is exciting news indeed =) On the other hand I now feel like kicking myself for forking over so much money for my PL jeans.
